[REC] is a horror film about an ambitious young television reporter and her cameraman who are covering the night shift at a small-town fire department. Following the crew on a call to rescue an elderly woman trapped in her apartment, the calm midnight air is pierced by the sound of horrific screams, and the television report takes an unexpectedly dark turn.
This faux horror documentary in the tradition of Cloverfield and The Blair Witch Project is playing at the New Zealand International Film Festivals.
